RTC PhotoWork: E’s Fort Worth Rouge Session Preview

It is always exciting when a client contacts me about another session after time has passed.  It’s especially exciting when that client is interested in a Rouge session to celebrate herself.  Husbands are a good excuse for boudoir photos, but as E said to me when I asked if it was for a special occasion:  No, it’s just for me!

You know what?  That’s enough of a reason.

There is partial nudity in some of the following image.  It is only being shown with permission from E, the woman depicted in the image.  Image below the fold.

RTC PhotoWork Local Business Highlight: Mommy Moxie

One of the awesome sponsors of the Spring Baby Bump Contest is Mommy Moxie, owned by Nicole Bambalere.  I found her on Twitter a few years ago, and I was intrigued that she designs and makes maternity delivery gowns (which are perfect, breastfeeding-friendly postpartum gown too!).  As it turned out when I contacted her she was pregnant, so I’ve photographed her pregnancy as well as her family.  She even had me guest write for her blog on the importance of getting photographs of your pregnancy.  She has since expanded her offerings to other baby products, and it’s my pleasure to introduce her to you!

I asked Nicole a few questions to help you get to know her and her fantastic business, Mommy Moxie.

RTC PhotoWork Local Business Highlight: RootMama Maternal Care

One of the awesome sponsors of the Spring Baby Bump Contest is RootMama Maternal Care, owned and directed by Sister Freya Mórani.  I first met her through Tarrant County Breastfeeding Coalition meetings, and I had the pleasure of photographing her and her associate doula, Casey Muhammad, in business portraits.  Sister Freya has a clear passion for informing and nurturing mothers through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.  When I talked to her, she just had this authority and confidence in what she was speaking about, and at the same time she gives grace freely.

I asked Sister Freya a few questions to share with you what she does and help you get to know her and what RootMama Maternal Care is all about.

RTC PhotoWork Local Business Highlight: Babies Bottoms and More

When I met Amber, she was the point person for the first Tarrant County Breastfeeding Coalition’s Big Latch On & Family Expo in 2012.  We had some great conversations about the community and families in general.  I was really excited to hear she and her husband bought a local cloth diaper and all natural baby store because I know her passion for families and breastfeeding, and I can only imagine how many families will appreciate her knowledge and passion.  When we talked about Babies Bottoms and More being a sponsor of the 2014 Spring Baby Bump Contest, I did some research and found that one of my clients already uses them to rent newborn cloth diapers.  Kismet, right?

I asked Amber a few questions to know more about her store and the special things they do that you can’t find at other baby stores.

RTC PhotoWork Local Business Highlight: Winks & Wiggles Yoga

One of the gracious sponsors of this year’s Spring Baby Bump Contest is Winks & Wiggles Yoga, owned and run by Brandi Hook.  Tristan and I go to her Preschool class, and I have sat in on several classes of hers to create photographs and videos for her.  The only class I haven’t seen first hand is her prenatal class, but if she runs it the same way she runs her baby and child classes, it’s a can’t miss!  Even if she wasn’t offering a prize for the contest, I would stand behind her with my recommendation.  :)

I asked Brandi a few questions to share with you what she does and help you get to know her like I know her.
