Ollie is 4 weeks today! I can’t believe it! This guy was a champ once we got him to sleep at his newborn session!
At some point after this shot, when dad (Jake) was holding him for family photos little Ollie pooped on Jake’s arm. I haven’t had many accidents happen in my sessions, but up until this point they’ve always been on blankets. This was QUITE a blow-out! (But isn’t that shot totally worth it?)
We went through so many sets and hats with Ollie, but the most important thing was still that little guy. (That’s my first newborn smile! Eeee!) So sweet.
I couldn’t resist the above in-between photo as I switched the set around.
Little Ollie’s grandmother made that striped blanket. I love incorporating personal items in the session, especially when they are hand-made.
(I take extra time to make sure all photos are set up safely. Chandly was holding his little head in place in this particular pose. Another reason why Photoshop skills are important when hiring your newborn photographer!)
This is my favorite, slightly more conceptual setup. He was doing so well that we had to give it a try. Plus, it would look GREAT large in his brown-and-green nursery!)
