Ollie is 4 weeks today! I can’t believe it! This guy was a champ once we got him to sleep at his newborn session!
RTC PhotoWork: Newborn Origins Designer Book
This is an exciting share for me. I had too much fun photographing the book! (Yep, photography nerd…) I am so excited to get this book in obstetricians’ and midwives’ offices, but I also can’t wait to design more newborn books like this for my clients.
RTC PhotoWork: Now Offering Wall Collections!
This is an exciting addition I’m making as one of many changes for the new year! Now, when you book a session, I will design a custom collection for your wall. When we meet to put together your order, I will have a few suggestions of sizes and photo combinations for you, ready to order or tweak.
The benefits for you of the wall collections:
- No more guessing and wondering what might look good together on your wall.
- You can order with confidence that photos your order with be both appropriate to the wall you will be hanging them on and be a statement.
- This makes planning the placement of your photos a piece of cake.
How to maximize this new offering:
- Measure and/or photograph the walls you might consider decorating with photos of your session and send me the measurements and photos prior to your ordering appointment. (This way, the suggestions are truly tailored to your space and current decor.)
- Plan how you will rotate current photos with new ones over the years. (This way, you won’t have to wonder or answer about “what you will do with all the photos as you have more sessions.” You will have the confidence to commit to your order and enjoy your beautiful photographs when they arrive.)

Thank you, thank you to everyone who trusted me to work with you and your families to create beautiful photography! Thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me in this business. This past year has been unbelievable both personally (for obvious reasons) and professionally. I am so excited to start a new year, especially knowing that some of you will be joining me for more!

RTC PhotoWork: 8th Day of Christmas—Our Tree
Less than a week until Christmas, are you ready? (We’re not!) So, on the Eighth Day or Christmas brings to you our Christmas tree. The Christmas tree with all the lights is one of my favorite things about Christmas, even though ours is only a 4-footer. I’ve had it for the last 4 or so years, and there have been years where all I needed was to look into the corner of the room, see it lit up, and I felt good. (It was like a warm, fuzzy, happy sign of independence or something.) I plan to have a full size tree next year, but this one will have a home somewhere still.
(What was the luck that every shot I took except the out-of-focus bokeh shot, that top-middle section blinked off!)
