First, I have to say how excited I was when M contacted me about this session. She’s 34 weeks pregnant and wanted a Rouge-styled maternity session for a surprise for her husband for Christmas. In the short time from her initial inquiry until her session (We rocked it out in about a week!) I spent a lot of hours researching and really studying for this session. This was a session I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, and while at times I struggled between the duality of maternity and boudoir I know she will have a lot of both to choose from.

Let the holiday season begin! This session was my “season opener” for the holiday season in September. (I know it still feels like summer in September in Texas, but it’s so much better to get photos made in September and early October at the latest when you need holiday gifts and cards made from them. No one needs to rush or be stressed!) We met at the beautiful Heritage clubhouse in Keller for this family/9 month Origins session.

There is another family I got to meet through the Watauga Elementary School fall carnival. They’re the Gardners. Unfortunately, dad got called to work both days we had scheduled for the session, so on the second date we scheduled it was just the girls. It still turned out great. We laughed about Twilight and one of the girl’s crushes from the movies, and we had a few funny faces. Somehow I can bet dad would have been rolling his eyes if he was there. ;)

Keep your eyes peeled since the blog is about to explode with full session posts, including more from this mother-daughters session at Trinity Park in downtown Fort Worth!

I had the pleasure of meeting Shea and her family for a mini session she won in the silent auction at the Watauga Elementary School Fall Carnival. We went to my new favorite fall/holiday spot for families downtown, at the Trinity Park downtown Fort Worth. Can you see the colors behind them? It took until the week of Thanksgiving, but we got some fall color! Oh, and can you see? We had a lot of fun that day!

More coming after I show the rest to Shea and help her put together her order. ;)

I just HAVE to share this photo with you from the Escamilla family’s mini session at the Trinity Park duck pond downtown Fort Worth! I love the happiness in their faces; they were a lot of fun to walk around the park with, and I’m so fortunate and grateful to have met Sarah at the Big Latch On & Family Expo in August. If it weren’t for that event, I wouldn’t have gotten to meet her and the rest of the Fort Worth Mothers of Multiples group. So much fun we had on that abnormally warm (*ahem* hot *ahem) day!

Keep your eyes peeled for more from Sarah’s family session as well as more sessions from this holiday season. I can’t believe it’s almost wrapped up already!
