I love when it threatens rain throughout a session! Well, not to the point it sprinkles a few times like in Eboni’s maternity session, but it makes for beautiful soft light! Especially when you’re like me and unafraid to shoot in the middle of the day.
So…here is a small preview of Eboni’s maternity session at the Southlake Town Square.
Spring/Easter Mini Sessions are here! Now is your chance to have a family session with RTC PhotoWork!
This post has been a long time coming! Nicole and I were planning her maternity session for months. She is such an awesome chick! She has the spirit of someone younger than she is, and she designs and creates custom maternity gowns to wear in prenatal appointments and when you’re in labor. (You might recall she asked me to guest blog for her about the importance of maternity photography can play in your self esteem.)
On the Fourth Day of Christmas, RTC PhotoWork gave to you…
Whaaaaaat? It’s December 1 already? Can you believe it? This is the first of 12 days of holiday posts. Some will be fun, personal things of my holiday preparations; some will be tips on maximizing your own celebrations; some will be specials/giveaways. (If you have any fun traditions, DIY decor, or holiday tips, send them to me by email at email@example.com)
Today’s is a call to give.
I will be making a trip to the Fort Worth Pregnancy Center a week from Friday (so on the 9th), and I would LOVE to bring them a HUGE donation box for their HOPE closet! Whether you have had a session this year, have a session scheduled in the next month or not, I would so appreciate a donation to take to the FWPC. Make arrangements (by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org) with me to donate baby items, and you will get 15% of your next order (normally 10%). You will receive a coupon by mail with a coupon code specific to you after I receive your donation.
In case you didn’t know…
The Fort Worth Pregnancy Center is a great place for women (and their significant others) to visit when they have taken an at-home pregnancy test or are unsure if they are pregnant. The center offers a complimentary pregnancy test, help to sort their thoughts about being pregnant, complimentary due date ultrasound at 9-12 weeks, as well as information and classes about parenting, seeking employment, Medicaid for pregnancy, and a lot of other things. They are very kind people, and the facility itself is very nice. I can speak from experience as Pat and I visited the Fort Worth Pregnancy Center before I had found a doctor when I was pregnant with Tristan. They gave us some of the best (2D) ultrasound pictures that we got from the entire pregnancy.
Thank you all for supporting this awesome organization!
If you or someone you know is expecting and is interested, contact me using the contact form or send me an email. The first weeks are so important! For more information on when to have a newborn session, read this blog post. Through the end of the year, anyone who refers a newborn client to me will receive double the referral points to put toward a complimentary session or products! The client you refer will get $50 off the newborn session as well!
